This is set to be the lead single off Simian Mobile Disco‘s second album, ‘Temporary Pleasure’. It’s called ‘Audacity Of Huge’, and it’s pretty good. Yeasayer’s very own Chris Keating provides the vocals.

Only a low quality version is available at the moment, and it was released for streaming on their website, as the single and the album aren’t actually out until August. But my early thoughts of the song is that its quite Chemical Brothers-esque.

SMD have already given us a chance to listen to two other songs from Temporary Pleasure. ‘Synthesise’ is really good, but ’10,000 Horses can’t be wrong’ seems quite average. Nothing compares to ‘I Believe’ off their first album yet though.

The majority of the album is supposed to have guest vocals from an assortment of different artists including Beth Ditto of The Gossip, Jamie Lidell of Super Collider and Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon. SWEET.
