I posted a preview of Dam Mantle’s new We EP recently and I’m pleased to find that you can now stream all four tracks on his Soundcloud page. What’s more is that Becoming Real aka Toby Ridler has delivered a remix of one of the tracks, ‘Meet Me In The Ambulance’, and you can download it for free below.

The London-based producer’s sound is often called ‘ghost-step’ after his track of the same name. Ridler explores the darker side to the ever-popular off-beat rhythm and his sample-heavy productions sit well with a variety of other sounds, be they from a LA beat scene producer like Nosaj Thing, a Tri-Angle release or other London-based producers like Zomby and Burial. The latter two have clearly influenced Ridler and previous 12″ releases like ‘Closer / Antarctic City’ show off a truly talented artist with a great deal of promise.
